Spaces at night

This set of drawings is made to show a series of domestic spaces at night. Greyscale renderings taken with tamped-down light settings are used as an underlay for hand drawings done in gel pen by my kids, showing the figures that emerge for them only in the nighttime.

The collaborative, investigatory drawings are part of ongoing work that uses the medium of architectural drawing, in expanded forms, to try to amplify voices of people who are typically excised from architectural discourse, in this case, children.
