Autonomous Creature of Rivers and Clouds

Aerial view of the earth allows us to see the earth in God’s eye view, asserting man’s control and power over nature. Yet nature is ever-changing- the ephemerality and complexity is rationalized and over-simplified. Rivers change course, clouds move with wind- every second we see a different creature. These morphosis creatures are powerful, magical forms that have bewitched us, also mythicized by our ancestors that have become the roots of art in history. Yet in many instances, these autonomous creatures can also form a very personal relationship, as I recall the times in my childhood when these creatures crawled out from the sky turning into my companions. Crane, peacock, tadpole, jellyfish, dragons, eel, skate fish, worms, dove… What do you see?
