Color Questionnaire

We asked our classmates a series of questions about color. These are some of the responses.

What is your favorite color?

If you could paint something your favorite color, what would you paint?

We painted three doors, five rooms, two walls, and six objects, here are some other things to paint: Loria elevators, parking garages, Parastone Tree Man by Hieronymus Bosch, Beinecke, my screen!!!! and my lamp, Minerva, my roommate’s cat.

Where did you last see your favorite color in a building?

Although six people could not remember when they last saw their favorite color, a few did: rubber in a mullion, painted mechanical systems! probably as a mosaic tile, Vermeer painting in a museum in Delft, the plotter release station screen background, David Adjaye’s new design for The Webster in LA, Frida Kahlo’s house, fusion bars in South Africa, Foster’s SOM building, in the Vatican City
